The word Pardis (where you pronounce the 's') is a noun that means paradise in Persian and the collection is inspired by the opulence of the East.
Pardis Collection was created by artist Felicity Buchanan in collaboration with interior designer Nels Crosthwaite Eyre. The good friends met in London whilst both working for renowned decorator Robert Kime and, surrounded by Kime's sumptuous fabrics on a daily basis, they developed a passion for all things pattern.
Both Felicity and Nels moved to Hampshire with their young families but found they wanted to indulge their love of textiles. Felicity's talent as a watercolour artist and Nels' experience in the interiors industry proved the perfect match and in 2019 the Pardis Collection was born.
Printed in the UK, the designs explore many of their favourite motifs from the Ottoman and Moghal worlds. The Collection of eleven beautiful fabrics is now sold exclusively through The Mews Fabrics & Furnishings and we are working with Felicity on adding to the collection and producing homeware items from the bestselling prints.
